We'll be updating this feature as more announcements are made, so be sure to check back.
Acer at IFA 2016
Acer unveiled plenty during its IFA press conference, including a whole swathe of notebooks in the Swift and Spin range. Plenty of gaming laptops were unveiled too, which is an extremely fast growing sector in tech.
Standout launches included a convertible Chromebook, with a 360-degree hinge and 13.3-inch touchscreen display. The Acer Chromebook R 13 can be used as a tablet as capably as a laptop and will be available in October from 399 euros.
A trio of budget smartphones are coming from the manufacturer, with the Iconia Talk S costing just £159 for a quad-core handset with 720p display and 13-megapixel rear camera. It'll be available in the UK from September.
The Liquid Z6 has a curved 5-inch display, while the Z6 Plus offers a 5.5-inch screen. Both are octa-core and will cost 199 euros and 249 euros respectively when they arrive in November and December.
Acer's Predator 21 X gaming notebook is the first to arrive with a curved screen. It also sports the full Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics experience as found in desktops. It'll be available in the first part of next year.
Apple at IFA 2016
Apple notoriously doesn't have a presence at IFA, or any other trade show for that matter. It does normally steal some of the limelight back with its own event around the time of IFA though.
Don't expect anything from Apple at IFA itself but the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and possibly even a third iPhone are expected to be announced within a couple of days of the show. A dedicated Apple event has been scheduled for 7 September in San Francisco.
You can read all the rumours for the next iPhone and the third iPhone in our separate features.
Asus at IFA 2016
Asus held its press conference on Wednesday 31 August at IFA and its biggest announcement came in the guise of the ZenWatch 3.
Other highlights from Asus include the ZenBook 3 - an Intel Core i7 powered device that's just 11.9mm thick - and the Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Pro. The latter two are ultra-slim 2-in-1 PCs with high resolution displays that as effectively double as laptops as Surface-rivalling tablets.
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is worth a shout about too, with its 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 screen and super-slim bezel. The surround measures just 5.3mm.

Garmin at IFA 2016
Prior to IFA officially starting, Garmin announced two new products: a refresh of its running sportswatch and a 4K action camera to rival GoPro.
It features GPS and, for the first time, a heart rate monitor that can provide more accurate data on how you perform during a run. It'll be available this quarter in four colours - black, limelight, frost blue and white - priced at £169.99.

The Garmin Virb Ultra 30 is already starting to roll out globally and offers 4K video shooting at 30fps. It comes with a waterproof case and touchscreen LCD, plus Garmin's own editing software. It retails for £449.99 in the UK.
HTC at IFA 2016
Announced to coincide with IFA 2016, the HTC One A9s is an updated version of the company's mid-range smartphone. And yes, it still looks a lot like an iPhone - even more so perhaps, now that the camera unit has shifted to the left-hand corner.
While the specifications are reasonable, if not "spec"tacular, the One A9s shouldn't break the bank and could be a good option for those on a budget.
Huawei at IFA 2016
Although there were plenty of rumours ahead of the show suggesting the Huawei Mate 9 would make an appearance, it wasn't part of the Chinese company's IFA announcements in the end.
Instead, a couple of mid-range handsets made their debut: the Huawei Nova and Nova Plus.
Both phones do have the same specs though, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and microSD support in each.
They will hit mainland Europe first, in October, and then roll out to other countries in time.
Huawei also announced an 8.4-inch tablet, the MediaPad M3 - effectively designed to play media and play media well. Its light, good looking and comes with AKG earbuds in the box. It'll be available from 26 September starting at 349 euros.
LG at IFA 2016
LG is hosting a special event to launch the LG V20 phone on 6 September, so it was never expected to launch it at IFA 2016. And apart from that it used its press conference to essentially confirm that its Signature products - the 77-inch OLED TV, refrigerator, washing machine et al - are all coming to Europe.
The two curved models are the 38-inch UltraWide 38UC99 and 34-inch 144Hz IPS Curved UltraWide 34UC79G respectively. The latter is especially good for games thanks to the superfast refresh rate.
The 38UC99 has a staggering more-than 4K resolution of 3840 x 1600.
Motorola at IFA 2016
Although we didn't expect Lenovo-owned Motorola to unveil any new smartphones during this IFA it has surprised us with a new variant of the Moto Z that will wing its way to Europe.
It sports a 2.05GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16-megapixel front-facing camera for those who can't get enough of high res selfies. You can expect to pay around £450 when it hits stores soon.
The Motorola team also showcased the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod at IFA, which transforms the Moto Z into a proper camera. It has a lens that starts at 25mm equivalent, which can stretch to 250mm equivalent, but aperture is sacrificed (f/3.5 to f/6.5). It'll cost you £199 when it arrives.
Panasonic at IFA 2016
Apart from some kitchen appliances - IFA is a general consumer electronics show after all - Panasonic announced that it is looking to move into the OLED TV market some time in the future. It is showcasing a prototype OLED telly, but is keen to match the reference status of some of its existing sets before unleashing it as a consumer product.
In addition, the company has added a new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player to its line-up as a more affordable option. The Panasonic UB700 player will still cost around 500 euros, but will feature much of the premium picture processing that is seldom found in rivals.
Philips at IFA 2016
Philips revealed that it is moving into the OLED TV market, with the 55-inch Philips 901F.
The set has HDR picture tech, so ticks all the future-proofing boxes. The Ambilight is three-sided, which means you get ambient LED lighting beamed onto the wall behind the TV to the left, right and above. The colours match the action on screen.
We have no indication yet as to when the 901F might hit stores, nor price, but it'll definitely be worth a viewing when it does.
Samsung at IFA 2016
Samsung held its traditional IFA media event on the Wednesday night ahead of the show and it entirely focused on new smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S3.
Two models were announced, with different styles for different types of user.
Samsung will also host a second press conference during IFA, which is expected to centre more on smarthome gadgetry, so we'll update you on that area, and any new TVs or cool home appliances at that time.
Sony at IFA 2016
Sony usually has a stack of stuff to show at IFA and this year is no exception. Not only did it announce a new waterproof smartphone, plus a smaller, cheery device, but it expanded its audio products and threw in a few surprises during its press conference to boot.
It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, with 3GB of RAM, and it comes in 32GB or 64GB storage flavours. A 5.2-inch Full HD display, fingerprint sensor and water and dustproofing are also present.
For those after something a little more pocketable, the Sony Xperia X Compact is a 4.6-inch 720p device, but has the same fingerprint sensor and, most importantly, 23-megapixel rear camera as the XZ.
They will both be available from October.
Sony's audio product line is being improved with MDR-1000X active noise cancelling over-ear headphones, which even upscale standard definition audio to higher res through built-in DSEE HX tech. And they are wireless, which is impressive for the category.
You might even fancy matching them with the new Sony NW-WM1Z Walkman. It is a high-end audio player that'll set you back 3,300 euros, but everything, including the wire-braided Kimber Kable, has been designed to playback music at its best.
The company will also unleash its concept Bluetooth earphones, the Xperia Ear, in November. They are more than music playback devices, they will also whisper information in your ears, through complete phone interaction.

And the Sony FDR-X3000R action camera has optical image stabilisation for 4K video and even high-speed recordings, to ensure your slow motion clips will be less jerky and judder-free. It'll cost £500 from November.
TomTom at IFA 2016
TomTom revealed a whole host of products at the start of IFA 2016; sportwatches and satnavs galore.
It is moving into the activity tracker market with the TomTom Touch, which has all the benefits of rival fitness devices but also measures body fat. It'll cost £129 when it is released later in September.
TomTom's last sportswatch to be announced was the TomTom Adventurer, aimed at those into more extreme running, hiking or even snow sports, such as skiing and snowboarding. It takes into account elevation as well as GPS location. It'll be available in October for £249.99.
For cars and other vehicles, TomTom unveiled a new range of Go satnavs, with Wi-Fi, smartphone notifications and even voice control through Siri, Google and Cortana (depending on your device). There was also a dedicated satnav for scooters, the TomTom Vio. And the TomTom Curfer links with a cars on-board diagnostics (OBD) system to send data to your smartphone, even turning the results into a form of game.
